BAND WORK

Things we do for our fans as Hollaphonic

Hollaphonic was born in a small studio in the Dubai desert, the brainchild of British electronic duo Olly Wood & Greg Stainer. As the first electronic act to sign with a major label in the Middle East, they made waves with their debut album Personal Space, released through Universal in 2015. The album scored four No.1 singles and topped charts across eight territories. Their hit Dangerous skyrocketed to No.3 on the global Shazam trending charts after being named ‘Track of the Week’ by Radio 1Xtra.

After dominating BBC Radio One, Spotify, and TenCent Entertainment, Hollaphonic caught the eye of Sony Music, becoming a global priority. Their first release with Sony spent a staggering 13 months at No.1 in Thailand’s international Top 10 in 2018, thanks to streaming powerhouse JOOX. This success led to a Thai TV performance viewed by over 50 million people, and their lyrics were even used in English lessons in local schools. In 2019, Hollaphonic claimed their first No.1 on Thailand’s main chart, collaborating with Thai superstar Peck Palitchoke, followed by a K-pop debut with U-Kiss’ Kevin Woo, performed live at KCon in Madison Square Garden to millions.

Blending the sounds of Disclosure, Chris Lake, and Vintage Culture with pop influences like Joel Corry, Jax Jones, and Martin Solveig, Hollaphonic’s music crosses boundaries. They played the opening set on Tomorrowland’s One World Radio in 2019, a set that was broadcast globally. Brand endorsements from Red Bull, Emirates Airlines, adidas, and Rolls Royce further spotlighted their growing influence. The duo also collaborated with Cirque Du Soleil director Franco Dragone and created an original track for Emirates Airlines' ICE system. NASA even selected their song Spaceship for their global "Playlist to the Moon" campaign.

Known for their electric live shows, Hollaphonic have shared the stage with legends like The Killers, P!NK, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, and Tiesto. Their sets are an energetic fusion of soulful vocals, thumping basslines, and stunning visuals, keeping crowds hyped from start to finish.

In 2020, Hollaphonic returned to their house music roots, gaining support from Pete Tong, Martin Garrix, and Claptone. Their breakout track Save Me was the cover of Spotify’s Mint playlist, landing on every single New Music Friday playlist worldwide, and they became the cover of the ‘MINT’ dance music playlist. In 2021, they cemented their place in the house and tech-house scene with Better Days, a track supported by BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems for six weeks. They capped off festival season with a chart-topping collaboration with Brazilian superstar Alok on Sunglasses at Night, featured on Alok’s EP All We Have Is Now.
